  1. Review: Lenovo U410 (Part 2)

DISPLAY: The screen is the U410ís other weak link. (The keyboard being the other.) A resolution of 1366x768 is standard for ultrabooks and laptops at this price, so I canít really fault Lenovo for not exceeding the standard. But, my Dell 6000 had a 1680x1050 display and that was six years old. Why hasnít the industry pushed for better resolutions? Why are laptops lagging behind tablets? Along the way there is some combat (including underwater), dynamic questing, and other ...

  5. The Secret World: Illuminati, Templars, and Dragons, Oh My!

A brief look at Funcom's forthcoming MMORPG, The Secret World. I start as a Templar and poke around London a bit before taking an underground portal to the town of Kingsmouth, Maine. (I can confirm it is Maine--when recording the commentary, I wasn't certain.) While I didn't find The Secret World to be that exciting to play, I thought the environments were quite nifty and I liked that it was a game trying to be DIFFERENT. Except it was different in premise and aesthetics, notsomuch when it comes ...
