Except for the AT&T part I'm loving my Captivate on AT&T... Of course I rooted it on day one and then dug into the settings database file and permanently change it so I side load apps. Unlike AT&T, I don't believe that non-market apps are evil.....

I think it's to appease Apple. Not sure why though. Maybe to keep their cash cow happy.

I am hoping to get an Android early next year. I want to have an iPhone and Droid on our account so I can see the best of both worlds. It looks promising.

Apple always direct their campaigns to make people believe that own an Iphone is for "cool" people so... I can smell something in the air.

Yeah. They'll start an ad campaign, something like, "You can buy an android phone if you hate babies and puppies and you like Nazis and punching grandmothers in the face. Or you can get an iPhone just like every cool kid between the ages of 12 and 27."
