Nope, no thumb for me. Wow that seems uncomfortable!

Bet, babe. Slide a piece o' da' porter. Drinks, I run da' java.

It's not at all. Maybe I'm not describing it well.
Take this picture, minus the fancy gloves:

But, on his turntable hand, bring the thumb up to rest on the side of the actual turntable instead of the base. I don't really 'grip' like I said. Just kind of rest my thumb there. It provides a lot of stability for the scratching part. Make any/more sense?

Ah yes. That is pretty much how I do it. Very snazzy gloves by the way.

I just got the game. Haven't invested in 'DJ Gloves' yet.
    Dare to dream.

Just figured I would update this thread. I am having a ton of fun with this game, and I can actually see myself getting better and better at it.
Whoever is into music/rhythm games surely has to give this a try.

Empire mode is fun. The online battles are really well done. Everyone who has watched me play has insisted they try it. That has not happened with
any other game I can think of.

I couldn't agree more. I think it's definitely more compelling as a rhythm game (and just as a game) than any of the RB or GH stuff I've played. I can see improvement as well. Don't get to play it as much as I would like, but I really enjoy it when I do.

After wanting to play this game again for a while, I decided I would ask here if anyone would be interested in playing and help me knock the rust off my skills? I never realize how much fun this game is until I stop playing it for long periods of time.
