Recommend me a good site for football news, such as injuries, trades, coaching moves, etc. I have always used the news blurbs on Fanball, because they're short, which matches my attention span. But that site is shutting down, so I need a new source.

This site is excellent for football news.
This site's pretty good, but it is affiliated with the league.
Lastly, here's a nice news roundup site.

You know, we WILL deport you.
I have to promote this site now -http://rotoexperts.com/. I know the guys there - definite know-it-alls in sports - especially Fantasy related. Fanball is the legacy of a former boss (boo, hiss)
(aside from my old stomping grounds of CBSSports.com - I know we used to run all that stuff )

I know you're not into it but even if posting tweets doesn't strike your fancy, Twitter can be leveraged as an excellent sports news source. Pretty much any and all sports writers/reports, agents, leagues, and even some players these days have twitter accounts. They post everything from links to articles/news they publish to just basic news blurbs that fit into 140 characters. I get the vast majority of sports news from Twitter these days. I usually see stuff about coaching moves, trades, injury updates, minor league call ups, etc. on Twitter long before "normal" channels.
Plus using an app (Tweetdeck is my favorite by far) you can easily view it all on your phone. Tweetdeck specifically lets you breakdown different lists into separate columns to organize the info better which I really like. Also they offer a desktop version of the app and you can sync the two together.
Ghost, if you made a twitter list of people you follow, then Flu and others could easily grab 'em all at once to make it easy.

http://twitter.com/#!/AdamSchefter is always pretty quick to break news. http://twitter.com/#!/SI_PeterKing sometimes has some scoops. Footballguys.com has a weekly email you can sign up for free that is full of everything, you get daily updates if you pay to join.
That's a good idea, the only problem is that I'm projecting what I do for hockey news onto football....I don't actually have a good list build up compiled for football currently.
However, I'd be happy to put something together and post up a link. I'll start with the two the Apple lists below and add in some others.
OK, I did it before I finished the post....

The one thing I'll note is that while I'll add some national NFL types to this list, if you want more team specific new you should create an account so you can follow people that cover your favorite team.
I just added a bunch of folks, mostly ESPN types, to the list.
