"my provisions of offensive ordnance need refreshment, old chap!"
I been looking foward to this since the game was suppose to come out this fall. Maybe its a good thing Gears 3 got pushed back to late 2011.
This game looks to be really good but it seems to be very co-op heavy which means you will need a good group of people to regularly play with or you will just be frustrated (see L4D1/2). I was reading a Gametrailers forum and the discussion seemed to indicate that there won't be a straight deathmatch type mode for Brink. Hope that's not the case. Anyway, it's definitely on my list of games to watch for next year.
May 17th is the release date now. This game has remained pretty high on my list. Here are a couple new videos:

Are you referring to having people and not AI's on your team? I enjoyed L4D playing with the AI and had even more fun with it playing with friends.
It'll be interesting to see how Brink's focus on positive player interaction (buffing teammates, missions to support the team) impacts pickup games with random people.
It'll also be interesting to see how well they use AI Bots. It'd be pretty cool if you were playing in "online mode" and not know if you were playing against people or bots.
I've not had much time to play lately but this game is still on my -high interest- list.

Reminds me a lot of Crackdown. Which I loved. Just added this to my rental list as well.
Seems like quite a few games are coming out without the versus mode. Maybe cause games don't last long since people keep moving on? I personally like that I can play even when everyone has left for something shineyer (spelling intentional!![]()
