Glad to hear this is the end of Ezio, although I would have been just as glad had Brotherhood been the last of him. Of course Altair is back as well. Frankly I'd rather see them wrap up the current storyline and try to expand the universe a little with a new story. As much as I like the franchise I hate to see this turn into a yearly money grab from Ubisoft stringing fans along with a non-existent storyline.

Ubisoft you vex me! I thought I was getting some gaming relief by having Mass Effect 3 delayed till 2012, but oh no, the next Assassin's Creed game has to take its space.

I was disappointed to see ME3 get moved back but I'm glad to see another AC game on the horizon. I'm a little uneasy about yearly releases as well but as long as they keep advancing the story I'll be on board. That said, after this I would like to see them move on either to an all present day story or at least jump into a newer era with the flashbacks.

I am excited about this although I am also in the boat that we need something fresh as far as location/era. I would love to see a feudal Japan AC. I am glad to see that they are expanding the MP as well. I think the MP in Brotherhood is very solid.

I hope they have some alternate storyline choices this time... more like ME3, to make the replay worth playing.
Some people like myself just don't do the M/P well enough to make it fun.
Spending 60 bucks for a single run through the game, not going to happen.
Sure do want to see where the story goes, as Midnight said, time for some fresh memories...

I read that the setting will be Ottoman, so lots of Istanbul (not Constantinople), Aleppo, Mecca, Belgrade, Athens... And stabbing Janissaries in the face, no doubt.

In before obvious set piece in Hagia Sofia, possibly clutching a Doner Kebab or some Hummus. Delicious and deadly!

I agree with this. I didn't need another Assassin's Creed this year, especially more Ezio.
