I guess you were asleep in a cave the week Crysis 2 was released and GIA (namely, Kaz) were demanding we all buy a copy. It wasn't on my radar. Not only did I not know about Crysis 2, I wasn't even sure Crysis 1 was an actual game. I thought it was a tech demo. I only ever heard people talking about it in relation to their rigs and "overclocking video cards." So I come to Crysis 2 without knowing anything about the backstory.

The campaign is really fun, though. I like the big levels with multiple paths. The multiplayer is good too, like a cross between Call of Duty (XP, perks, weapon unlocks, killstreak rewards) and Halo: Reach (enhanced armor, invisibility, sprint and power stomp). I tend to die a LOT in multiplayer, though. I need to level up some more so I can begin augmenting my nanosuit with better perks. I especially love the graphics and sound, which are second-to-none.

All twelve of the MP maps are good, but my favorites are Impact and Parking Deck.

No, my wife thought she was doing a cool thing and bought me a copy...the only game since Beatles she purchased. But, she grabbed it for PS3 and everyone plays it on xbox part of the reason I was a little annoyed between that and socom 4 nothing would work without PSN...still extremely bitter I wish it was for the xbox, I'll have to figure a way to trade it in and grab a used xbox copy. I finally grab another xbox for the family and set it up in the living room, so I don't have to compete for 360 time.

Nobody plays it on xbox, though. I haven't seen anyone in Crysis 2 since before the Gears beta. I don't think many (or any) in GIA have traded their copy in, though. As soon as Kaz is back from Chile perhaps we can play.
