So , I booked das galloping ghost arcade room. The plan is to arcade it up at around 1:00 P.M. until we get thirsty as G.G. does not allow alcohol. We can bring in food however, so I figured we could order some pizzas at the Ghost. After that, head to the city for a pub crawl. Dave and I are thinking, Goose Island, Haymarket, Piece and Revolution for the crawl. Maybe leave G.G. at 6:00 or so and hit the city. G.G. is 20.00 a man for the arcade and the room and that's for all day. The room is private for us, which is nice. go Cubs.

Sounds excellent! I shall be there will bells on.

two things. first, a VERY loud friendly discussion over whether or not Ohio State's professional football players (and the rest of college football players and baskeball players) should be paid for their "work" on behalf of the university.

but what i spoke of above was dstarz buggering out sort of quietly before the rest of us, then us getting the check only to find it already paid. AWESOME! but i'm still gonna pummel him for it.

Three things that cannot be disputed as awesome:

1) Hanging with Huck, Rev, Money and Roshambo (the only geezers who went) and lots of other great folks on Saturday. good games (by everyone other than me, but that's the way it normally goes), good beers, good friends. Can't beat that.
2) Hanging out with Money and Jen at Wrigley Field yesterday. Too bad the Cubs blow chunks.....
3) Getting texts with photos from Tommy when he was at the Goo Goo Dolls concert on Saturday night.
