Is bagged milk like boxed wine, wherein it's just an odd sort of packaging, or is it some sort of weird Briticism where it's not even really milk and there's no bag involved, unless the bag refers to a sheep's udder or a bull's scrotum?
You dumb bastard. It's not a schooner, it's a sailboat.

Just an odd sort of packaging. In Canada, milk comes in cartons, jugs and sealed plastic bags, however it does differ from Province to Province.

Through the power of Google, I had to see this.

Isn't it incredibly hard to pour?

You put the bag in a pitcher! Google it, I'm too lazy.

EDIT: Not as lazy as I thought...

My best friend in college was student teaching his senior year, and had lunchroom duty. Apparently, this particular middle school in upstate NY served milk in small bags instead of cartons. One kid was having a difficult time getting the straw into the bag, and at the height of his frustration, he yelled out, "I hate drinking from breast implants!" My friend and the other teachers about lost it in the lunchroom.
