    Transformers: Dark of the Moon

I'm as big a TF Gen 1 fan as you can get, and I like most of the spin offs.
No, I don't want to start a "who's the bigger fan" thread.

I just went to TF3 with the family, and since I hadn't heard any reviews I felt fit, here is mine.

The general story was a fit good. Anyone who's seen the G1 cartoons, can pick up on the storylines and start filling blanks quickly, but not all of them.
The Star Trek tie ins got a laugh, with a Spock clip, and of course, his voice.
    The needs of the many...

The new girl... A very nice intro... Underwear, need I say more.

The music I didn't care much for, but with the tone of the movie did fit.

The CGI was great, a must on blue ray. I would like to see it 3D some day.

Of course there are things that could have made it better, but it was 2 plus hrs. already. I just can't cut down a movie I saw 20 mins. ago, especially since I want to see it again.

I'm sure I'll hear it, but yes, it is "Dark of the Moon".
Nevermind... I see the powers that be, fixed the title for me.
    Thanks.

T: DotM was a great movie. I really enjoyed it. Best part in 3D I thought was the parachuting scene

New girl: We've replaced Megan Fox's weird thumbs with new girls over-collagenated lips (they're annoying... If you can't cover your lips right with lipstick - ITS TOO MUCH LIP!!)

    My only beef:

Totally agree. The paragliding sequences were incredible in 3D. More intense than the flying sequences in Avatar (which I absolutely loved!)

Great movie! Tons of action, well worth seeing in 3D.

The love story could have been eliminated completely. The new girl is, again, too hot for it to be realistic. The idea that Shia gets dumped and has no girl is more realistic. The idea that he is struggling with feeling important again is more interesting than a love story.

I agree about the 3D, and I'm not a fan of 3D movies. This was great and made the film more enjoyable. When my wife asked me how was the movie, I told her is wasn't the steaming pile of turd the second movie was. She just looked at me and stared for a second, then shook her head.

FYI: the folks over at the Death Star PR published a review, entitled: Autobots are D****. (Major spoilers if you haven't seen the movie. But if you have, it's a must read!)
