Dirt 3 Nights (Mondays and Fridays)

While it has been on and off this Summer for XBL for many with vacation, some of us have been finding time each week to play Dirt 3.

Game types include Rally, Rallycross, Head 2 Head, Landrush (buggies/super trucks), Trailblazer ("Hillclimb" in other games), Gymkhana (drifting/tricks), Outbreak (Zombies) and team games like Invasion (knock over robots), Transporter (Capture the Flag) and Cat N Mouse. (Mini Cooper FTW)

And with Dirt 3 being on sale this week for $39.99 at Best Buy (price match at Wal Mart too?), I figured we could set up something more formal for more Geezers to join in on the fun.

Super Rad Dad and friends have been getting folks together on Monday nights around 9:30pm EST and I've been trying to organize Friday get togethers if possible around the same time.

(We have played the past four Fridays until about 1:30am-2:30am EST, so no worries if you're on the West Coast)

No worries Blickey! The main idea is to get as many Geezers into the fun as possible (vacation/real life permitting)... we'll be here when you get a chance to jump in with us. A lot of us think Dirt 3 will keep us busy until the Fall rush of games like Gears 3/Battlefield. Personally, I'll be playing a lot until at least November when the second rush starts.

So glad I finally got to join in tonight. Thanks for showing me the ropes. The game is fantastic online. I am not much of a racing guy and definitely prefer the Burnout type of games. I worried this was going to be more of a serious racer. It is chaos in a good way and just is fun to play. It was competitive but I never had a moment where I was wasn't laughing. Good stuff. I really enjoyed the cat and mouse when it was 3 on 3. The pile ups were great when we were all around each other.
