Dark Souls, anyone?

Now I can't be the only one who is excited about Dark Souls. I'm extra excited that it's gonna be on the 360!
Demon Souls was relentless. There is even some very unique co-op opportunities. If there are any other geezers brave enough to accept the challenge that Dark Souls has to offer don't hesitate, I'd love the company.

Yes, been thinking about this one. I'm intrigued by the ultra-hardcore aspect, but the potential for spending $60 for a game that is too hard to enjoy has me worried. Will wait for the reviews on this, and may head towards Skyrim in November. Also interested in the reviews for Rage, coming out same day as DS.

How did I not see this game...I started watching vids for it last night and I'm still watching them. Drop in and out co-op no quests or time lines, but an insane difficulty ?!? I'm gonna need help with this one LoL

The co-op is a very unique setup. The last game didn't even have game chat. You had to just trust that the other player was there to help or.... KILL YOU!

I understand the reason for no party chat but then I guess its difficult to play with a person on your FR and there is a PVT chat instead of a party chat. I'm buying it for the RPG aspect like Oblivion so any MP would be a plus so we will see tomorrow.

I just read a couple reviews and I guess MP is going to be difficult to pair up with people on your list, mainly because of what you were saying...they dont want you to trust the person you are with

Thanks for the info. Thats great news. I don't think this is worth $60 for what will be a single play through for me. But a week rental? Sure thing.

After putting many mindless hours into this game I do have to say it ROCKS! I've died about a million times. I'm now at a point to where I'm stuck. I've rang both bells and can't seem to get any further. The enemys are hard as nails.

Both Demons Souls and Dark Souls will test your patience, however, they can be one the most REWARDING gaming experiences IMO. Finishing Demons Souls is one of my greatest gaming accomplishments and yes, ....... I am proud of it! lol ...working on my 2nd playthrough with that game.

I don't own Dark Souls on 360, but I own Demons & Dark Souls on PS3 if anyone has it on that console.
