That goal in overtime was a joke. How did Crawford let that past? There was nothing on it. Any chance we see another OT for game 5 between the Yotes/Hawks?

Saturday was a DISASTER and the first two periods of tonight's game were a disaster too. Fortunately, Smith kept us in the game. I didn't predict a 4-0 win that's for sure!

I have no expectations about beating Nashville. This is enough, really. The Coyotes have never won a playoff series since the franchise moved to Arizona. (And the franchise had never been first in their division until this year.) So this is a year for firsts, and I'm very happy with how things have turned out.

Of course, it's bittersweet because I'm figuring this is our last year. But I'm starting to make my peace with that.

That performance by Smith in the Yotes net was one for the record books. Last night was the first full game of the series that I watched while I was working in the den and it seemed like every 5 seconds, the announcers were saying "Save by Smith!". The left pad save he made when the game was 1-0 by sliding across a gaping 3/4 of the net was insane. If the NHL wanted parity in the playoffs, they've surely got it with all the powerhouse teams that have been bounced and the Rangers and Bruins still in jeopardy. Makes you wonder what good the regular season games and home ice advantage are since it doesn't seem to matter anymore.
