it works.

i pulled up the blacks to emphasize the flower...deepened the green hue and then desaturated the greens...then raised the brightness and contrast to really pull the flower into the main focus.

I went a similar route as huck, although I went a bit further and got my masking brush on in a serious way including darkening and desharpening the lillypads. I messed around with color a lot. (I wish I could tweak individual colors inside a brush mask).
