The holidays are all about giving and receiving!
What'd ya get that you really loved?
What'd ya give that went over really awesome?
What'd ya get that you really hated?
What'd ya give that went over like a lead balloon?

The "big" gift I got for TheMrsSquidgey was a 2 hour Taste of Rally "class" from Dirtfish Rally Racing School.
She was totally surprized and pretty excited by the idea.
It was as awesome I had hoped it would be!

I have to say that the Skillet Bacon Jam TheMrsSquidgey gave me is pretty freakin' awesome. It's like a jelly of smoked meat. So very good!

The gift I as most excited for was:
Rocksmith by UBIsoft
My nephew is Autistic. Buying for him is extremely difficult. He loves picture books and tactile puzzles/games. I took a stab in the dark with an AC powered version of a plasma ball.. It was a hit! He spent most of the afternoon playing with it.
I gave my wife a Cricut. My daughter & son in law gave us a Keurig, which I'm finding I LOVE !
Also got Skyrim...just getting into it, and can't wait to get some more time playing this coming week.
Phaze
Is Rocksmith cool, Empty? I'm very intrigued by it, but I don't think that I have the time for it.
You dumb bastard. It's not a schooner, it's a sailboat.
I got the wife a Clapper.![]()
Emptybag are you a guitar player already? What is your skill level, I would love to know how Rocksmith is, I have two guitars, and I know maybe 5 songs, and haven't touched either of them in over two years. Always wanted to play, but never really had the time, so I am curious if Rocksmith would be something I could actually learn something from.
And my wife works works with Autistic children once in awhile and I could just imagine the joy and fascination that the globe brought him. Something I would have never thought of, even though I love those things.
Phazezero watch www.slickdeals.com people list deals they find on the K-cups for the Kuerig there once in awhile to make them a bit cheaper, I have had mine for about 6 months and I love it, but I like flavored coffees, and it has a huge selection.
Myself I got new battery packs for my controllers with a new charger, because mine wouldn't hold a charge anymore. I also got a gift certificate to the local indoor go kart tracks.
I bought my wife a food dehydrator she was wanting, that does jerky too, so win/win for me! and some of the stuff for her cake decorating stuff she has been doing for fun.
And my 16 year old daughters favorite gift <hard as heck to buy for usually> was the plush portal 2 turret that has a motion detector and says several phrases when you move by it.
Lord and Flu,
I don't want to thread jack the conversation. I was thinking about doing a write up on it. My initial opinions are all over the place. I'll start up a thread on this.
got my wife one of the k cup coffie machines. i like the fact that it does tea as she has gotten into that as of late and she would microwave a cup of water and let it sit in there for an hour with the damn microwave beeping.
