    I am disappoint - no new Dirt Showdown thread? I've been away too long...

    Dirt Showdown - Release Date: May 2012



    News so far - less rally and more crazy. Take our Dirt 3 nights and add steroids... 8 player multiplayer with all of our favorites plus new events like crash up derby.

    Big update on Dirt Showdown... official release date is 5/29/12 with the DEMO dropping May 1st. (next Tuesday!)

    Early reviews are very good with some calling it, "Burnout + Dirt" - if you never played Dirt 3 with the big following here at GG, do yourself a favor and put this one on your radar. (though I can't recommend renting it since it will probably have an online pass again like Dirt 3 had)

    Pre-orders are now available, though the US is not getting the pre-order bonuses that those stores in the UK are getting... rally sadly isn't as popular here. (don't get me started on rally vs driving left NASCAR)

    I tried the demo yesterday, but I did not like it . We make a promise in GIA that we all are going to get Dirt and Max Payne 3 when the price go down. I think I'm going to get this just to keep my promise, but I'll wait a couple of months for the price to come down.
    How different is this of Dirt 3? I know you guys enjoyed that a lot!
