Oh Boy, time for another back update !!

I saw the surgeon today, and he said the mri done a couple weeks ago showed some minor stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal) and that was about it. So, the verdict is, on the 15th of March, I see his partner, to discuss having the discs at L-1/L-2 fused, along with having the stenosis addressed (again.) I just have to wait until I see the other surgeon and hope they can convince my insurance this has top be done. Otherwise I'll have a loose vertebra at the top of my lumbar spine.

Wow Krazy, it is unbelievable how much you have been going through with your back. I hurt my back last year, it was the worst pain I ever had and I was unable to move for a few days. That was horrible and yet nothing compared to what it sounds like you are going through. I feel for you man. Hopefully there is an end in sight. Stay strong brother.

Thanks everyone, I think this is related to a couple things in the last few years. In 2009, I was in a roll over accident, and then last year I had a run in with a guy high on lsd and got thrown around quite a bit. I have a hunch one or both of these led to the vertebra la L1/L-2 getting loose. The good thing with this surgery is the recovery time is only a month.

I'm still fighting, but, then again, this is starting to wear on me a little bit. Sometimes it's hard to be positive after fighting with it this long.....
