That is really what I am planning. Starting with normal campaign then on Tuesday night meeting up for some MP. I wont start SPARTAN OPS till I finish the campaign (Which should be that day)

I also picked up the HALO 4 controller yesterday as well with the blue LED. Pretty cool looking. Edie - I have a HALO 4 avatar code for you. Be on the lookout for my PM soon.

I'm keeping a watchful eye for anyone selling the H4 controller that comes bundled with the XBOX package. I like the one you got, Vic, but I LOVE the forerunner one that comes with the console!

What a day: New live action trailer "scanned" is out as is Forward Unto Dawn episode 3. Both are spine tinglingly excellent! Can feel it all picking up speed and building to the 6th!

That is kind of what I'm thinking, Mooch. Solo campaign to start for certain. Maybe a spartan ops chapter for a break if people are on and willing, but not delving into MM until Tuesday after some sleep.

I'd recommend finishing the campaign before jumping into Spartan Ops. Spartan Ops takes place 6 months after the events of the campaign and may contain spoilers.

If I wait to finish the campaign before doing MP, it could be a while. I'll probably work on both at the same time and wait until I finish the campaign for Spartan Ops.

I prefer doing the campaign multiplayer first (otherwise, I feel like I'm just going through the motions playing it again while everyone else is discovering things for the first time). If anyone else feels the same, I'd love the company.

That's a good point. Also makes me more anxious to do the campaign multiplayer first, because I get through it more quickly that way.

I'm sort of the same way and I'm glad to see another Halo diehard appreciate the campaign as much as I did. I thought it was one of the better Halo campaigns myself. I thought it had great pacing and drama. I also enjoyed playing on a Spartan team with multiple personalities. It brought a new layer to the Halo atmosphere.

I will probably try to play through all the campaign before multiplayer but I also know that it takes me on average about 10-15 hours to finish a Halo campaign and I don't know if I'm going to be able to stay away from everybody that long.

Yeah I really enjoyed Reach as well. Even though "from the beginning, you know the end," there was still a sense of urgency that I felt made the campaign really enjoyable. And, there is alway the War Games multiplayer, or whatever it's called, to satisfy the MP urges until people finish the campaign and start with Spartan Ops. I'm really looking forward to Spartan Ops, but if it takes place after the campaign I'm definitely going to wait to start them.
