Minecraft is coming to xbox 360 arcade. four person co-op
The three-dimensional sandbox title will include a new interface for crafting objects, "natural controller movements," and a tutorial mode. There's also online, split-screen multiplayer available. It will sell for 1,600 points ($20).
I've just recently gotten into the classic minecraft(.30 version) on pc where you can just build and I plan on picking up this version for the 360.

I plan to get this as well - I want to be able to play with my daughter but we didn't want to mess with servers and mods, etc. I'd rather let XBLive do that heavy lifting for me.
Can't wait till they switch to "plug-ins" for the PC version so I don't have to try and mess with java script or whatever the heck is required for modding right now.

I've been looking at the Knock offs in the arcade for a while now and I thought I would wait for the real deal. Not sure if I will get it though. Just not excited about a retro looking game that will run me 1600 ms points.

yeah the price is steep but I'd still rather the real thing. Angry Birds is a great example of the real McCoy versus the tons of knock offs

where can you pick this up from? I know at minecraft.net they sell it for $26.95.

anyone pick this up yet? I haven't been able to as ive been working a ton, so curious to see if the xbox version is any good.
