I picked this up. I have only played a couple games so far. There have been a few small changes to the game that add a bit more flexibility to your gameplay. I will post another update after i get a chance to play some more.

I played with Viper last night and was impressed with the new changes. The overall graphics and cut scenes seem much more polished. The music is a significant upgrade as well. I am still getting used to the controls and ensuring I am leveraging all of the abilities/enhancements available on a given card/character.

One note is that Magic 2012 users can unlock an entire deck for free as a thank you from the publisher

Hopefully we get a good number of Geezers to pick this title up!

Count me as a Geezer who picked this up. I played a few rounds and really liked it. Then again the last two versions are fun too. What threw me off are the Encounters. Nothing but flying hawks in a deck?? I lost the first time to these birds and then toasted them the second time. Cool. Just got to Innistrad... time to take out the garbage. Don't mean to sound like a bad@ss. I'm playing on easy. ; )
