Please share your thoughts once you get in. I've been following DayZ vicariously through a YouTube podcast-Sidestrafe is the broadcaster and has put together some good videos, I recommend his work. My computer bricked about 6 months ago so I haven't been able to play yet.

I'm curious about the in game cash and coins...not sure if I like that...would rather it be a barter system...I have this, you ave that, let's trade.

If they keep the atmosphere of DayZ and if the game doesn't become "open-world Call of Duty" I think WarZ will be awesome.

If I get a new PC soon I'm very much interested with joining a squad.

Well i havent played DayZ but i like the premise of this game.. what I dont like however is basically there are nothing but dBags online anymore.. i saved a guys life and he rewarded me by shooting me in the head and taking my stuff.. i wish there was a way to keep the stuff you find after death but like i said abunch of dbags..

So basically i think its eventually gonna become an open world cod like you said.. I hope it doesnt but im thinking that's whats gonna happen.

And as far as a pc goes mine is junk lol but i can actually run it fairly well.. a little choppy every now and then but not bad.

My hope is that once the initial rush of players is over, the more mature players will stick around. Team play will help too, less likely to encounter PKers when you have someone watching your back. However, I think not knowing who's friendly and who's a foe is an essential part of the game.

Yea I agree with ya but I think there needs to be a way for players to let other players know they're friendly or not.. some auto command or something.. instead of running away from zombies and having somebody blindside you with a flashlight to the back of the head..

I'm hoping after they institute some sort of reputation/punishment system for that kind of behavior the PKing will go down.. but pretty much now the only way to not be PK'd is to PK everyone else just so you know you're not gonna die.. Tis a vicious cycle..
