My son and I loved Heroes so this piqued our interest. We watch the season premier last night and I think it has some promise. It started off light-hearted enough but ended well.

just watched the piloet last night. i think it has a lot of potential but will have to see how this actually turns out.
watched the first two agree there is potential im afraid they over paid for the acting talent and it will end up getting scrapped. It seems to be borrowing from alot of other series but does have a twist of its own. I thought the first one was age inapropriate for my kids but the second one was far better in that regard still gona let a few more go by before we decide if its a family show. My kids are younger so the teenage issues with the daughter were a little out of thier range.
I thought the first episode was decent, but the second episode was weak. I'll give it a third episode to sell me, but if it's as weak as the second episode, I'm done.
We'll give it a few more weeks and see how it goes, I just don't want to bail before 5-6 episodes since shows can sometimes take a little longer to get off the ground. We still need to watch the 2nd episode.
Second episode was weaker but I'll stick with it for a while. I think the show has promise.

I tried watching the second episode last night through VOD, but before it was halfway over, I couldn't take it anymore. I get the sense the writers are lost and don't know what to do with the show yet. Maybe it will improve, but the whole thing feels dumbed down now. First episode was okay, but I'm not holding much hope for this. Just out of curiousity, did episode three do any better?
Not much better. I think the wife likes it because it's super hero but mainly family. We may keep watching it, but if it doesn't pick up in a few more episodes I'm gonna drop it. There also seem to be some dumb moments that wouldn't happen in the real world where we looked at each other when it happen and laughed a bit. Definitely need to pick up

What got me in the second episode was what Burton just said - too many unbelievable things. For example, someone with super-speed who's too stupid to watch where she's going, yet is a brilliant scientist. Or better yet, someone who's a brilliant scientist, but stupid enough to just walk through the lab talking in normal conversational tones about her new superpowers. And then of course there's the fact that they expect me to believe that the boy and the girl in any way share a portion of their genetic code.
I liked how they took the guys pass card and he didn't seem to notice at all, even though it seems many places in that lab would have locked doors. I need a card at the lab I work in, and we're not nearly as secretive as this big corp. I can't do anything without my card. I notice the minute I drop it.
And I'm having a hard time believing no one has seen them in public doing all their special powers. They seem pretty lax about it.
