I've worked my way through the first two seasons over the last week and LOVE this show!

The writing is excellent and there's not a dud among the regular cast of actors.

Some things I like:

I was so glad to see Charlie back in the last two episodes of season 2, even if it is his alternate world version! I really like Kirk Acevedo and was disappointed when they had him killed by a shape shifter. I like ow the other world version of Charlie needs to take injections for "worms"... I figure that without Walter, they were able to keep the infestation at bay that the "original" Charlie was cured of by Walter

I sure hope that Peter doesnt sleep with bOlivia. I think that would be damaging to the sense of intimacy that's built between him and Olivia, and I like that storyline.

Walternate is sort of scary! I think we'll see some really bad stuff in this season. I guessed that if Bell ever answered Walter about why he removed bits of his brain, it would be because Walter asked Bell to do it because he really didnt like who he was/was becoming... and that turned out to be true

I am hoping to see at least a few more seasons of this excellent show!

Yeah, I really like this show too. I just hope they resolve the alternate world situation this season. I really don't want them to keep jumping back and forth for the rest of the series. While it is interesting, I think from an arc perspective it could get old if it goes beyond even a few more shows. I prefer the other abnormal things that they've explored within the original world, and to me that was what made the show so cool and interesting.

I love Fringe! One of my favorite shows on TV right now. I like the X-files feel to it. I agree that the alternate universe could get old but by the same token so could the "freak of the week" theme.

There is one episode where, while a shapeshifter is killing his victim, The X Files is on the TV in the background. And in the episode where Broyles goes to Washington to defend Fringe Divisions budget, the chairman guy mentions the X cases (or something like that). Both being Fox shows, I suspect that its not coincidence. Perhaps Duchovny could make a cameo with Anderson!

Duchovny and Anderson cameo on Fringe would be really cool. Last night's episode was excellent - but it's not clear who created the mercury blood guys. Was it Walternate, or some alien tech, etc.?

This quote from Anna Torv sums it up for me:

"I like that it's just so broad. It doesn't fit in any particular genre. I think it's scary. I think it's kind of mystical. I think sometimes we've had episodes that I think are really quite magic. I think there are parts of it that are really heightened. There's parts of it that are really kind of down and dirty. It's got humor and a little bit of romance. The fact that it's so broad in its spectrum and in its stories and that it's unafraid to go, 'Let's just take this leap, shall we?' We all go, 'Yes! Let's!'"

I didn't like the ending, especially since I have to wait two weeks to see another one. I thought it was interesting that the shapeshifters actually came across as semi-human. Interesting twists last night.

I think Walter believes that William Bell had something to do with the creation of the shapeshifters. Which also implies, since Bell was working with Walternate, that he had something to do with it too.

And I think the wait will be a little longer than that... since it's being preempted by baseball until the World Series is over

SUPER PISSED - stupid ass Fox is moving Fringe to the Friday night death slot in January... watch you while you can folks. It's sad because this is one of the best shows on TV and no-one is watching... annoying when Dancing with the Stars and other crap gets mega ratings.
