I was only being a single and no one was talking, so I haven't benefited from communication.
It still comes down to how your team uses the info. I was in a squad with two people, but everyone on my team was reacting to the info I was providing. It would not have been nearly as effective if it was just my two squad mates reacting. Incidentally, I was playing the next day, and my team was not responding nearly as well to the info. I was still getting very decent scores, but the other team was countering me by shooting me down, so I couldn't stay up as long, and my team wasn't using the info to counterattack. No where near as dominant when the rest of the team doesn't work with you, but still usually results in good scores, so it's useful as a leveling tool. Incidentally, when you hit level 40 you unlock a UAV that shoots rockets and emp bombs. Not sure if it will still spot though.
It dont mean a thing if it aint got that swing!!!

Anyone want to help me try to understand this game?

For some reason I can't get into it. Been crazy with contruction and kids around my house and I haven't had the time. But now everyone has a head start and I am lost!

Are you the only one in your group when you play? They say you need to work with a team. I'd be willing to run a few games if you want later. With private matches, this game is a lock for me.

I'm also thinking of starting a dedicated squad of four (Me and Ranger are already signed on) to play once a day (at least) weekly to hone our skills and take them online and for Gorilla Mode. If you are interested when the game releases, let me know.

Yeah man, nobody is playing when I have had a chance to play. I'm sure I can get the hang of it with people I know (like yourself). Playing in a room of TIMMIES not knowing what to do and feeling things out just doesn't work.

I have it reserved just for single player alone. I just dont want to be behind the curve in MP because I havent had quality time with the beta.

We have been uploading tutorial videos and MP analysis. Check the blogs or GIACast thread.
    Hope that helps!

I'm usually getting online as everyone else is logging off (or so it seems), but I'd like to try playing this in a team.

Jedi sent me an invite and got me through the initial questions I had. We played 3 games together (with some server issues) and I had a blast.

Once Jedi left I played two more games of Sabotuer and really got a feel for the game. Both matches I was top of the leaderboard with 15,000 points and grew very comfortable with how the game controls and was shocked with the amount of teamwork a bunch of randoms showed.

Each time I was carrying the bomb I had team members escorting me both in front and behind. Same could be said for any memeber of our squad who was carrying the bomb.

I am quite impressed with this game and very glad I gave it more time. This could be a game that has a very long play life.

There are a few glitches I have seen as well. A funny one is I have seen dead bodies suddenly fly up into the sky and disappear. I have also seen someone get kill in the act of throwing a grenade, they get killed before throwing it but a phantom grenade is thrown. I took cover from a few of these but they never blew up.

I also got knifed a few times, I think that is done with "X" but I am unsure.

If you need an extra hand, Cyber, I'm usually on pretty late. I've been wanting to get back into the beta but I haven't been on yet this week because work has been pretty rough. Today is Friday for me, though...I'll be on tonight at some point.

Great new podcast too, BTW...if you want someone to co-op in Borderlands let me know. I still have to run through the Mad Moxxi and Claptrap DLC.
